What publicity driven butt head. The car doesn’t just run out of power, it has reserves that he consciously ignored. Also, the emergency release in the trunk my first thought, but maybe I’m just an exception for that knowledge since I spend a lot of time in my Model 3’s trunk (the emergency release in there is glow in the dark green).

Because they don't have a significant method of obtaining revenue to sustain them otherwise. When you run into that scenario, to get this you need to do this, somewhere along the way something collects crazy money and gives kickbacks to organizations who referred them.
